We work with an artist studio, Maison Teintée situated in the historical textile city of Lyon, France who prepares each custom dye with artisanal equipment — hand dyeing all of our fabrics in small batches to achieve custom hues. The finished product will have slight variations in where the dye sits may occur. These variations are intended upon and part of the process and design of each piece. Over time, the dye and color may fade with washing. These truly are pieces of art and any imperfections is part its beauty and uniqueness.
