Beautiful navy floral Ironstone platter. Made by England's iconic ceramics maker Ridgways. It was produced at the company's Bedford Works factory in Staffordshire. The "bow and quiver" mark on the reverse - without the word England or the phrase "Made in England" - was in use from 1880-1885, when the phrase "Stoke-on-Trent" was added to the mark. Pattern is Birmah included in the marking on the back. Dimensions 13 1/4" x 10 7/8"
